Paradise Technologies ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Information you give us

If you complete the site audit form, we receive what you type into it. That is your name, email address, phone number, company name, the type of site you operate, the work you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field. We use it to reply to you and to plan an assessment. The form is handled by Netlify Forms, so your submission is stored on Netlify's servers as well as reaching us by email.

If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies in your browser and records your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you arrived, how far you scroll, and clicks on links that lead away from this site. Google processes this on our behalf and IP addresses are shortened before storage.

The savings calculator on the home page runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter into it are not sent to us or to anyone else.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by using your browser's own tracking protection.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to:

• Reply to your enquiry and arrange a site assessment
• Prepare a proposal and deliver the work you ask for
• Improve this website and the services we offer
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data storage and security

We store information securely and keep it only as long as we need it to provide our services and meet legal requirements. Your data may be stored or processed on secure servers outside New Zealand as part of delivering our services.

Third-party services

This site relies on the following third parties:

• Netlify: hosting and form handling, which keeps standard server logs and stores form submissions

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise returning visits and to work out where traffic came from. They hold a random identifier, not your name or contact details. We set no other cookies, and we do not use them for advertising or cross-site tracking.
